64 GOHL Grads on OHL Rosters

by wjenner

As the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) season enters its 4th full week of the 2025-26 season, its 20 team rosters contain 64 GOHL alumni, representing over 12% of active OHL players.

The Saginaw Spirit and the defending Memorial Cup champion London Knights currently have 7 GOHL grads on their respective rosters.  The first-place Windsor Spitfires have four former GOHL players including two former LaSalle Vipers; Carson Woodall, who leads the OHL with 10 assists, and Cole Davis, who leads the league with 3 shorthanded goals.

Pittsburgh Penguins draft pick and former Ayr Centennial Jordan Charron leads the OHL with 8 goals and is tied for 2nd in scoring with 11 points in his second full season with the Soo Greyhounds.

These numbers reinforce the viability and effectiveness of the GOHL as the official development league of the OHL.
