JOE THORNTON TROPHY
Western Conference Playoff Champions
When informed of the trophy being named after him, Joe Thornton offered the following …
“Wow! The Joe Thornton Trophy! What an honor, but it also has a nice ring to it.
I remember the joy I felt with the guys when we won the Western Championship Cup back in the day. It puts a smile on my face today and makes me think of so many of my teammates along my hockey journey. I can’t wait to see who wins the Joe Thornton cup for the first time and I hope that 30 years from now, those boys will look back to winning with a smile on their faces. Peace & Love”
