2008:  Game 7, Golden Horseshoe Conference Final
St. Catharines Falcons 2 at Thorold Blackhawks 4
Mario Cote’s penalty shot goal late in the second period was the championship-winner as the Blackhawks clinched the Golden Horseshoe championship in front of 2300 fans at the Frank Doherty Arena.  It was their fifth Golden Horseshoe league/conference title in 8 years.  Ryan Bellows had 2 assists to claim the conference playoff scoring title with 31 points in 15 games

2012: Game 5, Midwestern Conference Final
Stratford Cullitons 2 at Brantford Golden Eagles 3 (BGE 3-2)
Trent Hawke scored 3 goals for his 2nd hat-trick of the playoffs as the Golden Eagles moved to within one win of the championship

2013:  Game 6, Golden Horseshoe Conference Final
St. Catharines Falcons 4 at Welland Canadians 2  (series tied 3-3)
Luke Karaim had a goal and two assists as the Falcons tied the series, denying the Canadians a conference title in front of 2972 spectators at the Welland Arena – the largest recorded attendance for a playoff game in GOHL history

2016:  Game 5, Western Conference Final
London Nationals 3 at Leamington Flyers 2 (LON 3-2)
Rai Di Loreto scored with 54 seconds left in the third period to tie the game, then scored the winner at 1:26 of overtime

2017:  Game 6, Golden Horseshoe Conference Final
Caledonia Corvairs 5 at St. Catharines Falcons 2 (CAL 4-2)
Three unanswered goals in the second period were the difference as the Corvairs clinched their fourth straight Golden Horseshoe Conference championship, matching the Falcons’ four straight titles from 1976-79.  Greg DiTomaso had an assist for the Falcons and claimed the conference playoff scoring title with 19 points in 16 games

2019:  Game 6, Golden Horseshoe Conference Final
Niagara Falls Canucks 2 at St. Catharines Falcons 7 (series tied 3-3)
Christian Girhiny:  4 goals;  tied franchise record for goals in a playoff game
Jacob Roach (left):  1 goal, 4 assists;  went on to claim the conference playoff scoring title with 43 points in 17 games

2019:  Game 6, Midwestern Conference Final
Listowel Cyclones 2 at Waterloo Siskins 5 (WAT 4-2)
Sam Cherry scored his 4th and 5th goals of the series and the Siskins clinched the Midwestern Conference championship.  It was their 9th Midwestern conference/league title since 1980.  Holdyn Lansink had 2 assists and claimed the conference playoff scoring title with 31 points in 15 games

2023:  Game 6, Midwestern Conference Final
KW Siskins 1 at Stratford Warriors 3 (SFD 4-2)
Owen Willmore stopped 39 of 40 shots faced and the Warriors clinched the Midwestern Conference championship.  It was their 18th Midwestern conference/league title and first since 2016.  Blake Wideman (KWS) claimed the conference playoff scoring title with 31 points in 16 games

2026:  Game 6, Western Conference Semi-final
Elmira Sugar Kings 2 at St. Marys Lincolns 6  (SMY 4-2)
In front of a capacity crowd of 1175 at the Pyramid R.C., veteran Chase MacQueen-Spence scored two goals as the Lincolns advanced to their fourth straight conference final

2026:  Game 7, Eastern Conference Semi-final
Fort Erie Meteors 2 at St. Catharines Falcons 3 (OT)
In front of 1628 fans at the Seymour-Hannah S.E.C., the Meteors forced a fifth overtime of the series by rallying from a 2-0 deficit, with Danny Adamo scoring the tying goal with 14 seconds left in the third period.   Ally Mostafaie scored the series winning goal at 6:14 of overtime as the Falcons advanced to their 14th conference final in the last 17 years
