In front of a crowd of 1525 at the Dan Snyder Memorial Arena, Nick Horrigan (left) made 40 saves and Cory Genovese’s only goal of the playoffs was the game winner as the Sugar Kings moved one win away from the championship

2013: Game 7, Sutherland Cup Final
Cambridge Winter Hawks 2 at London Nationals 4 (LON 4-2)
Paul Hopkins scored two goals and Noah Schwartz scored the game winner with five minutes left in the third period as the Nationals clinched their first Sutherland Cup championship. It was the first time a London team had ever won the title. Schwartz’s assist on Hopkins’ second goal was his 8th of the series, setting a GOHL record for assists in a Sutherland Cup final. Schwartz claimed the league playoff scoring title with 41 points in 27 games, and set GOHL records for career playoff points (107) and assists (68)

2017: Game 5, Sutherland Cup Final
Elmira Sugar Kings 4 at London Nationals 1 (ELM 4-1)
Klayton Hoelscher scored the game-winner and brother Mitch Hoelscher added an insurance goal as the Sugar Kings clinched their fourth Sutherland Cup championship since 1997. Jake Brown had a goal and an assist to claim the league playoff scoring title with 34 points in 27 games and set a GOHL record for career playoff power play goals (18). Jonathan Reinhart made 33 saves, setting a GOHL record with his 43rd career playoff win

2019: Game 6, Sutherland Cup Final
London Nationals 5 at Waterloo Siskins 1 (series tied 3-3)
Five different goal scorers led the Nationals to the win, forcing a seventh and deciding game of the series

2024: Game 2, Sutherland Cup Final
Listowel Cyclones 4 at St. Marys Lincolns 1 (series tied 1-1)
Luke Eurig (left) scored his 12th goal of the playoffs and Dixon Grimes made 34 saves as the Cyclones tied the series
