Sam Spaedt scored with four minutes left in the third period to force overtime, where Alec Tiley scored an unassisted goal at 15:30 to give the Siskins the Sutherland Cup championship for a record 12th time and their first since 1994. Chatham Maroons 5 at St. Catharines Falcons 8 (series tied 2-2)
The Falcons scored 3 goals in the first 10 minutes of the game and hung on for the series-tying win. It was the highest scoring game in a Sutherland Cup final since Waterloo’s 9-4 win over London in Game 1 of the 2019 final. Chatham’s Dylan Richter had a goal and 3 assists for his second straight 4-point game
