The two clubs meet for the third time this season and the second in as many days, with the Corvairs having defeated the Canadians 8-3 Saturday in Caledonia.
In that win, Corvairs forward Ethan Quick (Ottawa 67’s, 2021) had his second straight 5-point game (2G, 3A). The Corvairs would take sole possession of third place in the Eastern Conference standings with a win tonight in Welland.
The Canadians — looking to snap an 8-game losing streak — are led by Ukraine import Yegor Staiko, who has a 4-game point streak and is the team’s top scorer with 5-7-12 points. Will Fyfe (Niagara IceDogs, 2025) leads the team with 9 goals, which is tied for second most among GOHL rookies.
