Former Komoka netminder signs NHL contract
Owen Say, who appeared in 32 games for the Komoka Kings in 2018-19, signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Calgary Flames on Monday.
Say played 27 games for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in 2024-25, posting a 10-15-0 record with a 2.82 GAA and .920 save percentage. He played the two previous seasons for Mercyhurst College, appearing in 42 games with a 12-23-4 record.
The 23-year-old London native — an 8th round pick of the London Knights in 2017 — posted a 12-15-2 record during the 2018-19 regular season for Komoka, and followed that up with a 6-4 record in 10 playoff games for the Kings.
