Last weekL 2-5 vs LaSalle, L 2-4 at #10 Stratford
Against the Vipers, Chase Macqueen-Spence opened the scoring with his franchise record 78th career goal but the Lincolns surrendered five unanswered goals after leading 2-0, having their 16-game home winning streak snapped in their second loss of the season to the Vipers.  The Lincolns were outshot 40-28, marking just the second time this season they have allowed 40 shots on goal.  St. Marys — who generated just 17 shots on goal in the loss to the Warriors — suffered back-to-back regulation losses for the first time since  November 22-24, 2024.

Carter Chadwick scored his league-leading 12th power play goal and Aydan Doyle had his second career 4-assist game in the convincing win over the Warriors.  The Maroons have scored 5 or more goals in each of their last six games.  It was Chatham’s first win in three meetings with Stratford, avenging losses in overtime and a shootout.  The Maroons are now 6-6-2 against ranked teams this season.

7.  Pelham Panthers (27-14-0-1)
Last week: W 3-2 at #8 Port Colborne, W 8-2 vs Caledon
The Panthers began the week by clinching a playoff berth before having played a game.  In their first of three meetings in 13 days against Port Colborne, Owen Hunks scored the winner with 4 seconds left in the third period (video) to give the Panthers the dramatic win and extend their road point streak to 9 games (8-0-0-1).  Pelham opened a five-game home stand with the win over the Bombers.  Lucas Peever scored twice to extend his point streak to 13 games, and the Panthers’ top-ranked penalty kill was a perfect 9 for 9 against Caledon.

The loss to the Maroons was the Warriors’ worst home defeat since a 9-0 loss to the Kitchener Dutchmen on February 3, 2017.  For the third time in three meetings with the Siskins, 60 minutes of play could not decide the outcome, and for the third time, the Warriors came out on the short end.  Grady Murphy scored two goals — including the game winner — as Stratford avoided a third home loss in three nights and moved into a tie for 4th place in the Western Conference standings with a big win over the Lincolns.
