Riding an 11-game win streak to start the season, the Redhawks sit atop the first edition of this season’s power rankings. Cambridge leads the league with 73 goals scored (6.6 per game), and their scoring prowess comes from a mix of experience and youth. 3rd-year forward Reid Gammage (London Knights, 2023) leads the GOHL in scoring (24 points), and game-winning goals (4), while Alexander Forrest (Kitchener Rangers, 2025) is 3rd in rookie scoring with 17 points. With a win over the Kilty B’s on Thursday, the Redhawks would set a franchise record for consecutive wins (12).

T2. St. Catharines Falcons (10-0-1-0)
Last week: W 6-1 vs Caledon, W 5-3 vs Port Colborne, W 6-2 at Welland
The Falcons may be playing the most “clutch” hockey in this young GOHL season. They’ve played the most one-goal games in the league (5) and boast a 4-0-1 record in those games, with the only blemish an overtime loss to the #1 Redhawks. They also lead the league with 2 wins when trailing after two periods. Their most clutch player so far is 3rd-year forward Treyson Dewar, who is tied for second in the league with 3 game-winning goals.
This week: Friday vs Pelham | Saturday at #6 Fort Erie
T2. Elmira Sugar Kings (8-2-0-0)

Another ingredient in Elmira’s success is strong starts; they have outscored their opponents 17-3 in the first period. 3rd-year netminder Liam Reid (Oshawa Generals, 2022) leads the league with 3 shutouts.
This week: Saturday at #7 London | Sunday vs Komoka

The Corvairs have won 6 straight and are led by 2nd-year forward Ethan Osborne (18 points) who has a 9-game point streak, including 2 or more points in each of his last five games. First-year netminder Maverick Fletcher (Erie Otters, 2023) is tied for second among GOHL goalies with 6 wins.

After a sluggish 3-3-1 start to the season, the Lincolns have reeled off 4 straight wins, including an impressive 5-1 decision over the then 8-1 London Nationals on Friday. With a 2.01 GAA and .939 save percentage, first year netminder Brogan Colquhoun has stepped in admirably to fill the void after the departures of two all-star goalies from last season.

This week: Wednesday vs #10 Chatham | Thursday at Sarnia | Saturday vs #2 Elmira
8. Stratford Warriors (5-2-1-0)
Last week: W 4-0 vs Listowel, W 3-2 at #10 Chatham (SO)
The Warriors have played just eight games — fewest in the league — so their 8th place position in the Western Conference standings is a bit deceiving. Stratford boasts the stingiest defence in the league, allowing just 2.1 goals per game due in part to the recent signing of netminder Noah Bender (Oshawa Generals, 2022) who is 2-1 with a 1.62 GAA and a shutout in his three starts for the Warriors.
This week: Friday vs LaSalle | Sunday at #9 St. Thomas
9. St. Thomas Stars (6-4-0-0)

Eloan Le Gallic (London Knights, 2025; 18 points), Wyatt Cameron (15 points) and Cade Kinnear (Soo Greyhounds, 2024; 13 points) give the Stars four players among the league’s top 7 rookie scorers.

The defending Sutherland Cup champs started the season with five straight wins in which they surrendered just 11 goals. But they are just 1-2-0-2 in the five games since during which they have allowed 22 goals. The Maroons are in the midst of a 4-game winless on home ice for the first time since October of 2014. A bright spot is the breakout season from Trevor Zanutto, who leads the league with 11 goals — already 5 more than he scored in 39 games last season.
