No change in top 5, several changes in next 5 in GOHL Power Rankings

1.  Cambridge Redhawks (17-0-0-0)
Last weekW 3-0 vs LaSalle, W 4-2 at #10 Pelham
The Redhawks made it 16 straight with the win over the Vipers, where Brandon Balcar made 16 saves for his first shutout and league-leading 10th win of the season.  The win streak reached 17 with the win over Pelham, where the Redhawks were outshot 38-28 and were a perfect 8 for 8 on the penalty kill, improving their league-best success rate to 93.4%.  Recently signed Jack D’Arcy (Flint Firebirds, 2023) has 5 points in his first two games for Cambridge.

2.  Elmira Sugar Kings (14-2-0-0)
Last weekW 2-1 at Listowel, W 4-1 vs Komoka
In the win over the Cyclones — their fourth 2-1 win of the season — Kyle Morey (Owen Sound Attack, 2021) scored his league-leading 3rd shorthanded goal.  Morey scored his team-leading 13th goal in the win over the Kings, helping the Sugar Kings to their 10th straight win.

3.  St. Catharines Falcons (14-1-1-0)
Last weekW 4-3 vs Caledonia, W 3-1 at #8 Fort Erie
In the win over the Corvairs, the Falcons rallied from a 2-0 deficit and improved their record in one-goal games to 5-0-1-0.  St. Catharines then avenged last week’s home loss to the Meteors with a big win in Fort Erie — the third win by the visiting team in three meetings between the two rivals.

4.  Chatham Maroons (12-2-0-2)
Last weekW 6-3 vs Strathroy
The Maroons extended their win streak to 5 with the win over the Rockets where Trevor Zanutto notched his league-leading 16th of the season, extending his goal streak to 5 games.  Since a stretch of 6 games in which they scored an average of 3 goals, the Maroons have scored 6 or more goals in 4 straight games.
This week:  Wednesday at #6 London | Friday at #9 Stratford | Sunday vs Listowel


5.  St. Marys Lincolns (11-4-1-0)
Last weekW 5-3 at Komoka
Declan Ready (Flint Firebirds, 2024) scored his first 2 goals of the season for the Lincolns in the win over the Kings where the Lincolns scored their league-leading 22nd power play goal of the season.  This Friday, they return to the friendly confines of the Pyramid Centre, where they have points in each of their last 5 games (4-0-1-0).

6.  London Nationals (12-5-0-0)
Last weekW 6-4 vs Sarnia
Ryan Nichols (Barrie Colts, 2021) scored twice, including the game winner in the win over the Legionnaires, putting the Nationals back above .500 at home for the season (4-3-0-0), though their power play in home games is still struggling at 18.2% (17th).   Veteran Aydan Doyle (Kitchener Rangers, 2021) is second among GOHL defencemen with 17 points.

7.  St. Thomas Stars (9-5-0-1)
Last weekW 3-0 at Waterloo
St. Thomas returns to the rankings after a one-week absence.  In the win over the Warriors, first-year netminder Eric McDonald made 29 saves for his second shutout of the season, and Myles Dunn (Sarnia Sting, 2025) had an assist for his 24th point of the season, most among GOHL rookies.  Wyatt Cameron — 2nd in rookie scoring — had his 10-game point streak snapped.
This week:  Wednesday at LaSalle | Friday vs Strathroy | Saturday vs #6 London


8.  Fort Erie Meteors (8-5-2-0)
Last weekL 1-3 vs #3 St. Catharines
Since scoring 4 power play goals in a 6-3 win over Caledon, the Meteors have won two of their last 6 games, in which they are a combined 1 for 19 with the man advantage.  Despite the recent struggles, they still have the league’s 5th best performing power play on the season (24.6%).
This week:  Saturday vs Caledonia


9.  Stratford Warriors (7-3-1-2)
Last weekL 2-4 at LaSalle
The Warriors have yet to suffer a regulation loss at home (5-0-1-0), but with the loss to the Vipers, they are winless in their last three away games as their overall road record dropped below .500 to 2-3-0-2.  Aside from a 6-1 win in Sarnia, the Warriors have scored 3 or fewer goals in every road game this season.
This week:  Friday vs #4 Chatham | Saturday at Komoka 


10.  Pelham Panthers (10-7-0-0)
Last weekW 3-1 at Caledonia, L 2-4 vs #1 Cambridge
Winners of 4 of their last 6, the Panthers make their first appearance of the season in the power rankings.  The win over the Corvairs was their second in as many meetings this season.  Second-year forward Jack Havers has 11 goals in 16 games, already matching his goal total in 46 games played last season.  Matthew Sarabando scored both goals in a close loss to the #1 Redhawks.
This week:  Saturday at #1 Cambridge | Sunday vs Brantford


Dropping out of Top 10:  Port Colborne Sailors (#9), Caledonia Corvairs (#10)
