The Greater Ontario Hockey League is pleased to announce the winners of the Collins Clothiers Players of the Month for December.
Player of the Month:
Ryan Hodkinson (St. Mary Lincolns)
6 GP: 1 goal, 12 assists, 13 points
The third-year forward scored points in each of his six games for his hometown team, extending his point streak to 8 games and helping the Lincolns to a perfect 6-0 record for the month. The 13th round pick by the Oshawa Generals in 2022 opened the month with a pair of three 3-point games including an assist on the game winner in a big win against Chatham on the 5th. Ryan leads the Lincolns in points (39), assists (30) and power play points (14). His 30 assists are tied for third most in the league.
Rookie of the Month:
Alexander Lisi (Chatham Maroons)
6 GP: 4 goals, 7 assists, 11 points
The Tecumseh native had points in four of six games for the first place Maroons. He scored the OT winner (video) to put the finishing touch on a 3-point effort in a 5-4 win over LaSalle on the 14th. The 7th round pick by the Owen Sound Attack in 2025 followed that up with a career high 5 points (1G, 4A) in an 8-4 win over Waterloo on the 19th. He then scored the shootout winner in a 2-1 win over the Siskins on the 21st. Alexander will participate in the 2026 GOHL Top Prospects Game on January 13 as part of the OHL’s Connor McDavid Top Prospects event in Peterborough.
Goaltender of the Month:
Finn Moffett (Fort Erie Meteors)
5 GP: 5-0-0, 1.40 GAA, .943 Sv%, 1 SO
The 2nd-year goalie from St. Catharines won all five of his starts, extending his personal winning streak to 9 games and helping the Meteors extend their winning streak to a franchise record 11 games. The 10th round pick of the Niagara IceDogs in 2023 made 12 saves for his second shutout of the season and 5th of his career in a 4-0 win over Ayr on the 4th. Among all GOHL goalies, Finn ranks second in both GAA (1.99) and wins (15), and 6th in save percentage (.926). Five days after his last win for the Meteors on the 23rd, his accomplishments were rewarded when he was signed by the QMJHL’s Gatineau Olympiques .
