The rookie forward from Mulmur had a pair of 2-goal games in two wins for the Warriors to begin the new year. He scored his first career shorthanded goal in Friday’s 6-2 win over the Vipers. His first goal in Sunday’s 7-3 win in Listowel was his second game winning goal of the season. The Grey Bruce Highlanders alumnus has points in each of his last four games and is second among Warriors rookies with 16 points.

The Petrolia native was acquired via trade from Sarnia during the holiday break. After being held off the score sheet in his debut with the Meteors in a win over the Titans on Saturday, the 3rd round pick of the Flint Firebirds in 2024 scored his first career hat trick — including the game winner — and added an assist in Sunday’s 7-4 win in Welland, helping the Meteors extend their franchise record win streak to 13.
