Rookie netminder Liam Hughes made 35 saves for his first career shutout and his first career win as the Kilty B’s (2-7-1-0) snapped a 6-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over the Bombers. Owen Miehm (Barrie Colts, 2025), Luke McSorley (Barrie Colts, 2023) each had a goal and an assist, and Gregory Fernandez scored in his first game with Hamilton since being signed on Friday. Cooper Reid added an empty-netter late in the third.
The Bombers (2-8-0) have lost 5 straight.
