TYSON DOWNS MEMORIAL TROPHY
Eastern Conference Playoff Champions
Tyson Downs played 45 games for the KW Siskins in 2022-23, helping the team to a regular season conference title and earning a selection to the Midwestern Conference All-Rookie Team. He passed away suddenly at his home in Owen Sound in July of 2023.
Tyson’s family offered the following …
“To the hockey community Tyson was so proud to be a part of, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Knowing the “Tyson Downs Memorial Eastern Conference Championship Trophy” will now be the award coaches and players will be inspired to achieve for years to come, gives us immense pride and gratitude. Tyson’s drive and passion for the game is everything this trophy represents.
On behalf of Tyson, who we know is incredibly humbled watching over us, we his family are deeply honoured by this great recognition. There are truly not enough words.
