In the third match-up between the top two teams in the Eastern Conference, Reid Gammage scored his 24th and 25th goals of the season and Parker Smith scored the winner with 5:21 left in the third period (video) as the Redhawks avenged a 4-3 loss to the Falcons six days earlier. After winning their first 16 home games of the season, the Redhawks have now dropped two straight at the Galt Arena Gardens with the loss to the surging Meteors. Cambridge is now 5-4-0-0 against ranked opponents this season.

2. St. Catharines Falcons (28-3-2-0)![]()
Last week: L 3-4 vs #1 Cambridge, W 5-2 at Brantford
Despite outshooting Cambridge 37-20, the Falcons suffered their first loss in a one-goal game this season (10-1-2-0), and had their 12-game point streak ended. The Falcons are now 1-1-1-0 against Cambridge. St. Catharines rebounded with the win over the Titans, scoring four goals on the power play, including two from Treyson Dewar, who has more 2-goal games (6) than 1-goal games (4) this season. With the win, the Falcons clinched their 56th playoff berth in 56 seasons.

3. Fort Erie Meteors (25-6-2-0)![]()

Saturday night in Cambridge, Danny Adamo extended his point streak to 10 games, scoring his 20th goal of the season with 7:26 left in the third period to snap a 3-3 tie as the Meteors extended their win streak to 15 — the second longest in the league this season — and improved to 2-0 against Cambridge. The two teams will face each other twice more this month. Sam Tonelli had 4 points in the two games to reach 200 for his career. Recently acquired netminder Rafael Tremblay has wins in each of his first two starts as a Meteor.

4. Elmira Sugar Kings (25-5-2-0)![]()

Elmira had their 6-game point streak ended with the loss to the Warriors. The Sugar Kings — who had scored 20 goals in their previous four away games — were held to one goal in a road game for the first time this season. They are now 8-3-0-0 against ranked opponents. In the win over the Siskins, Benjamin Brunton extended his point streak to 7 games with a career-high 4 points. With the league’s top-rated power play, the Sugar Kings scored two goals with the man advantage — including Ryan Cornfield‘s league-leading 10th PPG — and reclaimed sole possession of second place in the Western Conference, 2 points behind Chatham with four games in hand.

5. St. Marys Lincolns (24-6-2-0)![]()

In the win over the Legionnaires, Chase Macqueen-Spence had a goal and 3 assists and Ryan Hodkinson extended his point streak to 10 games with a goal and 2 assists. Against the Cyclones, Owen Voortman scored twice and added two assists, and Vaughn Barr made 31 saves for his third shutout of the season to to lead St. Marys to their 13th straight home win. The Lincolns have points in 11 straight games overall (10-0-1-0) and are 4 points back of the first place Maroons in the Western Conference standings, with the Lincolns having played four fewer games.

6. Stratford Warriors (22-6-2-2)![]()

In the win over the Vipers, Coen Galbraith had 4 points — including his third straight 2-goal game — and Jaxon Broda had a goal and two assists. In his first three games, Broda had 7 points and Stratford scored 20 goals. The Warriors — whose last regulation loss was at home to Elmira just before the holiday break — extended their point streak to 5 games with the win over the Sugar Kings, improving their record against ranked opponents to 6-5-2-0. Galbraith scored the tying and winning goals as the Warriors rallied to beat the Kings and extend their point streak to six games (5-0-1-0).

A three-week layoff had no adverse effects on the Nationals, who easily disposed of the Cyclones. Austen Pomerleau scored his team-leading 18th and 19th goals and added two assists. In the win over St. Thomas, Jack McGurn — one of four new players in the lineup after the trade deadline — scored two goals in his Nationals debut as London improved to 1-1 against the Stars this season. In the win over the Maroons, Alexandre Campeau (London Knights, 2025) scored the game winner as London improved to 2-0 in two visits to Chatham this season.

8. Chatham Maroons (25-7-1-3)![]()
Last week: L 4-5 (SO) at Listowel, L 2-3 vs #7 London
The Maroons rallied from 3-0 and 4-2 deficits to force overtime in Listowel, earning a point in the shootout loss. Dylan Richter had a goal and an assist in his return to the Chatham lineup after missing 8 games. The loss to London was the their 5th straight to a ranked opponent. The Maroons, who averaged 4.9 goal per game in their first 31 games, have scored just 12 in their last five games (2.4).

Landon Trethewey scored twice — including the game winner late in the third period — to lead the Panthers to their third win in three meetings against the Centennials this season. In the win over the Canadians, Trethewey had his second 4-assist effort in his 11th game as a Panther. Pelham swept the season series with Welland, winning the five games by a combined score of 32-7.

10. Port Colborne Sailors (19-11-3-0)![]()

PJ Alexander had a career-high 5 points (2G, 3A) as the Sailors — who had lost two straight — downed the Centennials for the third time in three meetings this season. Ian Robinson (Kitchener Rangers, 2025) scored his second OT winner of the season (video) as the Sailors improved to 2-1-0-0 against the Corvairs. It was Robinson’s team-leading 18th goal — 2nd most among all GOHL rookies. The Sailors trail 4th-place Pelham by five points with three games in hand and will have a chance to close that gap when they host the Panthers on Friday.
